Edgewater Door

Basement Beginnings

In 2002, the first Edgewater fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) prototype single door & frame was assembled in a basement in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Less than a year later, on December 1st, 2003, Edgewater FRP Door was born! Production was started in a small shop located in the Oshkosh Southern Industrial Park.

In 2008, with business expanding, the company moved to its current location in Neenah, Wisconsin and started selling throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

In March of 2018, Edgewater’s FRP products joined Oshkosh Door and Oregon Door, which mainly produce wood doors.

December 1st, 2018 marked the 15 year anniversary and a new beginning for Edgewater Door as it continued to develop new product configurations, allowing the expansion of fire and hurricane approvals.

Edgewater FRP doors and frames stand up well in environments that wood or metal doors cannot.

That original prototype door and frame from 2002 is still in use on a Wisconsin dairy farm to this day!
